ACNW- Athletes
6 of VHS's athletes performed excellently at last weekend's ACNW athletics meet in Potchefstroom.
In the girls u / 18 age group Hanemie Stols won a gold medal in the 100m hurdles.
Joané Mouton won a bronze medal in long jump.
In the boys u / 18 division Diaan Janse van Rensburg won a silver medal for triple jump.
Marnus Bosch a silver medal for weightlifting.
In the boys u / 16 division Elrich Bosch gets a silver medal in javelin and a bronze medal in the 200m.
Nathan Titus gets a silver medal in triple jump.

SA Athletes
2021
Elrich Bosch participated in the TWIZZA Athletic South Africa Campionships. He was ranked 11th in the Javelin (43.45 m) in the o/16 boys.
Jerry Venter and Hanemie Stols from Vryburg High School, participated in the SA Schools Athletics Championships in Potchefstroom on 22 and 23 March this year.
Hanemie performed excellently as she qualified as an u/14 athlete to participate in the 100m hurdles at u/15 level.
Jerry made it into the 400m hurdles final for boys u / 18. He eventually finished 4th in a quick final race in which the winner broke the current record. Jerry's fourth place also achieved his personal best time of 52.8 seconds.
Jerry also participated in ASA's Sub-Junior Championships in Paarl on 6 April. There he missed a place in the final of the 110m hurdles with 2 hundreds of a second. Mr. Marius Durandt, their coach who is also a teacher at VHS, accompanied them to the meetings.

O/19 Dogters Aflos
Joanè Mouton (U / 15) is crowned Victrix Ludorum at the annual Inter High Athletics Meeting (14 Feb 2020). She walked away at the event with 5 first places: 100m, 200m, 400m, 90m hurdles and 300m hurdles. She was also part of the U / 15 girls relay team which was 3rd.
O/19 Dogters Aflos
The U / 19 girls managed to win the gold once again during this year's Inter High Athletics Meeting in Koster. This year group has been winning the relay now since they were U / 14. This year, the relay team consisted of Synteche Lee, Hanemie Stols, Leanne Stols and Mariska Brits.
Renier Mouton wins the Senior Victor Ludorum at the inter-high athletics at Koster.
